Marshes, ditches. Further research is necessary to determine which of the four varieties listed in Weakley (2015) that this might be.

The range of Boltonia asteroides

Note: Whatever species or variety of Boltonia this might be, it is definitely found on the Prairies in western Floyd Co., GA. These photos were taken there. It has been collected from four adjoing AL counties.
